The <a href="https://www.morgan.edu/Documents/ADMINISTRATION/Regents/policies/StudentResidencyClassification-a1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">university</a> says, &#8220;Effective July 1, 2011, an undocumented immigrant individual &#8230; is eligible to pay a tuition rate equivalent to the resident tuition rate at the University, if the individual:
<ul>
<li>Has attended a community college not earlier than the 2010 fall semester and met the requirements of §15-106.8(B)(2011) of the Education Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland (except the requirement set forth in this section that provides that an individual must register as an entering student in a community college in the State not earlier than the 2011 Fall Semester);</li>
<li>Was awarded an associate&#8217;s degree by, or achieved sixty (60) credits at a community college in the State;</li>
<li>Provides the University with a copy of the affidavit that was submitted to the individual&#8217;s community college which stated the individual will file an application to become a permanent resident within thirty (30) days after the individual became eligible to do so;</li>
<li>Provides to the University documentation that the individual or the individual&#8217;s parent or legal guardian has filed a Maryland income tax return
<ul>
<li>(i) Annually while the individual attended community college in the State;</li>
<li>(ii) Annually during the period, if any, between graduation from or achieving sixty (60) credits at a community college in the State, and registration at the University; and</li>
<li>(iii) Annually during the period of attendance at the University; and</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Registers at the University not later than four (4) years after graduating from or achieving sixty (60) credits at a community college in the State.&#8221;</li>

In the email to Epstein, Farley was quoted as saying, “Our accepting your $5 million will show the world you are not a pariah and may help you avoid a conviction like Bill Cosby.”

According to her university profile, her research focuses on “the intersections of race and childhood,” and she gives professional trainings focused on “combating racial disparities in child abuse, foster care, and corporal punishment in public schools, diversion and restorative justice programs.”
After the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, Patton wrote an <a href="https://newsone.com/5381442/trump-shooting-and-black-people/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">opinion piece</a> for Newsone titled, “‘Is He Dead?’ Why Black People Are Not Grieving The Failed Assassination of Donald Trump.” Patton claimed, “Violence is America’s main currency and Donald Trump has served as the spark for the official rebirth of white supremacy.” She wrote:
“Black people are not reveling in violence. We are wishing for the death of evil. We are longing for the prevention of evil. For a moment on Saturday, we held our collective breath. We were suspended in uncertainty, caught between desperation and hope, asking: What if?” 
“Is it immoral for us to be tantalized by the siren songs of alternate histories where the world isn’t scarred by hatred, totalitarianism, genocide, lynching, segregation and world war?”

Patton writes:
“We know that because Donald Trump took a bullet for America and survived, and this failed assassination has radicalized and emboldened his supporters to complete the unfinished business of the first Civil War. Our communities remain vulnerable and unsafe, and we must remain vigilant.” 
Patton also claims that anyone supporting Trump as a result of the assassination attempt “fails to acknowledge that Trump is a violent convicted criminal who incited an insurrection and he’s a rapist facing more criminal indictments.”
As of publication, Dr. Patton is still employed by Morgan State University.
