As The Daily Caller documents, riots <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2020/08/25/list-of-cities-riots-three-months-george-floyd-death-looting-fires-police-seattle-portland-dc-atlanta/">broke out</a> in dozens of cities during the summer months of 2020. According to data from the Insurance Information Institute, the riots are the <a href="https://www.iii.org/fact-statistic/facts-statistics-civil-disorders">most destructive</a> in the history of the nation, resulting in $2 billion in estimated damages nationwide as of March 2021. According to The Federalist, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/">47 deaths</a> may be attributed to the riots.
On May 31, in the midst of the destruction, Professor Parcak tweeted instructions for protestors to follow when tearing down national monuments. Conversely, on the day of Rush Limbaugh’s passing, Parcak immediately took to Twitter to celebrate his death. As The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/here-are-the-professors-disparaging-rush-limbaughs-passing">reports</a>, Parcak refers to Limbaugh as a “piece of scum,” and expresses her hope that he “suffered until his last breath” in a now-deleted tweet.
“When a terrible piece of scum who caused immeasurable harm to millions dies, there is no sympathy. Only a desire that they suffered until their last breath.” 
<a href="https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/">Rush Limbaugh</a> was a popular radio personality known for his conservative views. He passed away in February 2021 at 70 years of age after battling lung cancer.  In an interview with Fox News after Limaugh’s passing, President Donald Trump <a href="https://www.air.tv/watch?v=hmCt0LrlSx6qndGAzaFjzw">described</a> him as a “great gentleman” and a “great man.”
In response to Parcak’s statement, <a href="https://www.al.com/news/2021/02/sarah-parcak-rush-limbaugh-controversy-alabama-gop-chief-calls-out-uab-professors-antics.html">AL.com</a> reports that President University of Alabama-Birmingham, Ray Watts, <a href="https://www.al.com/news/2021/02/sarah-parcak-rush-limbaugh-controversy-alabama-gop-chief-calls-out-uab-professors-antics.html">condemned</a> Parcak’s tweet about Limbaugh, stating that the university is “disgusted” of what Watt characterizes as “blindly inhumane and cruel.”
“UAB is disgusted and extremely troubled that Sarah Parcak would tweet something so unprofessional and blindly inhumane and cruel. Her poor judgment is completely counter to our shared values as an institution that include integrity and respect. She absolutely does not speak for our university, and we are reviewing the matter”
In response to an <a href="https://www.al.com/news/2021/02/sarah-parcak-rush-limbaugh-controversy-alabama-gop-chief-calls-out-uab-professors-antics.html">inquiry</a> by the site AL.com about Parcak’s statement condemning Limbaugh, UAB spokesperson Alicia Roberston describes the incident as a “personal matter.” and that the university is “continuing to review the matter.”

On May 31, in the midst of the destruction, Professor Parcak tweeted instructions for protestors to follow when tearing down national monuments. Parcak <a href="https://twitter.com/indyfromspace/status/1267271817439346689">offers</a> her expertise as an Egyptologist to any rioters interested in pulling down statues.

On the day of the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Parcak <a href="https://twitter.com/indyfromspace/status/1307104389962838022">tweeted</a> praise for the Justice, describes her as an “icon.”

<a href="https://www.britannica.com/biography/Ruth-Bader-Ginsburg">Ruth Bader Ginsburg</a> served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, serving as only the second woman ever on the court. She died on September 18, 2020.

Conversely, on the day of Rush Limbaugh’s passing, Parcak immediately took to Twitter to celebrate his death. As The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/here-are-the-professors-disparaging-rush-limbaughs-passing">reports</a>, Parcak refers to Limbaugh as a “piece of scum,” and expresses her hope that he “suffered until his last breath” in a now-deleted tweet.

“When a terrible piece of scum who caused immeasurable harm to millions dies, there is no sympathy. Only a desire that they suffered until their last breath.” 

<a href="https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/">Rush Limbaugh</a> was a popular radio personality known for his conservative views. He passed away in February 2021 at 70 years of age after battling lung cancer.  In an interview with Fox News after Limaugh’s passing, President Donald Trump <a href="https://www.air.tv/watch?v=hmCt0LrlSx6qndGAzaFjzw">described</a> him as a “great gentleman” and a “great man.”

In response to Parcak’s statement, <a href="https://www.al.com/news/2021/02/sarah-parcak-rush-limbaugh-controversy-alabama-gop-chief-calls-out-uab-professors-antics.html">AL.com</a> reports that President University of Alabama-Birmingham, Ray Watts, <a href="https://www.al.com/news/2021/02/sarah-parcak-rush-limbaugh-controversy-alabama-gop-chief-calls-out-uab-professors-antics.html">condemned</a> Parcak’s tweet about Limbaugh, stating that the university is “disgusted” of what Watt characterizes as “blindly inhumane and cruel.”

“UAB is disgusted and extremely troubled that Sarah Parcak would tweet something so unprofessional and blindly inhumane and cruel. Her poor judgment is completely counter to our shared values as an institution that include integrity and respect. She absolutely does not speak for our university, and we are reviewing the matter”

In response to an <a href="https://www.al.com/news/2021/02/sarah-parcak-rush-limbaugh-controversy-alabama-gop-chief-calls-out-uab-professors-antics.html">inquiry</a> by the site AL.com about Parcak’s statement condemning Limbaugh, UAB spokesperson Alicia Roberston describes the incident as a “personal matter.” and that the university is “continuing to review the matter.”

The Professor Watchlist Team reached out to Parcak for comment, but have not received an answer by the time of publication.

<a href="https://www.uab.edu/medicine/peds/faculty/ladinsky" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Morissa Ladinsky</a> is an M.D and Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
During a presentation at the American Academy of Pediatrics, she offered praise toward a gender-dysphoric teen for taking his life.
Dr. Ladinsky was <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/leelah-alcorn-transgender-teens-reported-suicide-note-makes/story?id=27912326" target="_blank" rel="noopener">referencing the suicide of Ohio teenager Leelah Alcorn</a>—born Joshua Alcorn—who suffered from gender dysphoria for years. Alcorn took his life in 2014 by stepping in front of a tractor-trailer. The suicide note left requested that his death “mean something” to other transgender teenagers.
In her remarks, Dr. Ladinsky <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/video-transgender-teen-boldly-committed-suicide-pediatrics-professor-says/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">described Alcorn as “boldly” stepping in front of the oncoming truck:</a>
“In the final days of 2014, a local 16-year-old young lady, Leelah Alcorn, of trans experience, stepped boldly in front of a tractor-trailer, ending her life. “
She continued:
“Her suicide note, written to post on social media about an hour after her death, went viral, literally around the world. Now Leelah was not my patient, but I took care of hundreds of her classmates at Kings Mills High School. But, each day, on the way to work, I passed that spot where this teen boldly ended her life.”

“I regret my choice of words that has been interpreted to glorify self-harm, This was never my intent. In discussing the tragic event, I sought to convey my work toward a day when no teen feels they must take their life…Any suicide is devastating, and I want anyone who is struggling to know that help is available.”   
Dr. Ladinsky serves in the Gender Health Clinic at UAB, <a href="https://www.uabmedicine.org/patient-care/treatments/gender-health" target="_blank" rel="noopener">which offers a variety of “gender-affirming care” for adults and minors</a>, including hormone therapy, voice therapy, and “top surgery.”
The latter is a common term for a double mastectomy on a young girl as she transitions genders. “Hormone therapy” utilizes puberty-blocking drugs on teenagers as they transition. Even if the chemical dosage is halted,<a href="https://www.commonsense.news/p/top-trans-doctors-blow-the-whistle?s=r" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> children may suffer permanent health effects</a>.
Prior to the passage of an <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/05/09/alabama-ban-gender-transition-surgery-drugs-children-takes-effect/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alabama law that bans doctors from chemically or physically altering a minor’s gender,</a> clinic staff—including Dr. Ladinsky—bragged about prescribing up to a year’s worth of puberty blockers to minors and their families in an interview with The Forward, via what is reportedly <a href="https://forward.com/opinion/507291/the-only-two-doctors-in-alabama-providing-gender-affirming-care-to-trans-youth/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the only gender-affirming clinic in the state</a>.
