This <a href="https://socialjustice.sou.edu/gsj/trans-resources/#healthcare" target="_blank" rel="noopener">university</a> offers hormone replacement therapy at the Student Health and Wellness Center as well as assistance with insurance companies for gender-affirming surgeries. As if <a href="https://sou.edu/academics/gsws/programs/certificate-transgender-studies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">college</a> isn’t a big enough waste of money, you can also spend your hard-earned cash on a Certificate in Transgender Studies!

Southern Oregon University

Looking for LGBTQ activities?! This school hosts a variety of in-your-face <a href="https://lgbtq.osu.edu/community/involvement" target="_blank" rel="noopener">events</a> including workshops for LGBTQ History Month, a Queer HoliGay Celebration, and even a Rainbow Graduation Celebration. Ohio State also offers not one, but twelve, undergraduate LGBTQ+ student organizations!

Guess where your tuition is going? In February 2023, Penn State’s Student Government Association <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/pennsylvania-university-student-government-pays-transgender-students-change-names" target="_blank" rel="noopener">voted</a> to “provide financial support for transgender students seeking to change their legal name.” The university will allocate $3,000 towards this initiative!

Pennsylvania State University

This <a href="https://housing.uoregon.edu/communities/lgbtqia-scholars" target="_blank" rel="noopener">university</a> has an LGBTQIA+ Scholars community! Students “foster understanding of and respect for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and allied identities, histories, and practices.” In addition, students can also earn a minor in Queer Studies!

University of Oregon

The Center for Inclusion and Social Change <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/cisc/lgbtq-health-resources#identity_affirming_surgical_options-387" target="_blank" rel="noopener">offers</a> “gender-affirming voice training” and gender-affirming hormone therapy! What about REAL therapy for students? The university has also been an official sponsor of PrideFest…

University of Colorado Boulder

Wondering what your university’s top priorities are? Well, the University of Vermont <a href="https://www.uvm.edu/prism/resources" target="_blank" rel="noopener">allows</a> students to change their university email address to match their “lived name.” They also offer gender-inclusive housing and an identity affirming closet!

University of Vermont

Did you know? Ithaca College <a href="https://www.ithaca.edu/center-lgbt-education-outreach-services/resources-and-services/voice-and-communication-modification-program-people-transgender-community" target="_blank" rel="noopener">offers</a> a Voice and Communication Modification Program to help students of all gender identities develop their voices and articulation to improve their “voice related quality of life.” Interesting.

Ithaca College

San Diego State University has a <a href="https://sacd.sdsu.edu/pride" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pride Center</a> where “LGBTQIA+ and ally community members can explore, expand, evolve, and embrace their understanding of sexual orientation, romantic orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.” If that’s not enough, the College of Arts and Letters offers a <a href="https://lgbt.sdsu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">degree</a> in LGBTQ+ Studies! That’s money well spent!

San Diego State University

Well… The Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities “provides educational and social programs, leadership development, and policy consultation for LGBTQIA and ally students, faculty, staff, and community members.” Great!

The LGBTQ+ Equity Center envisions this <a href="https://lgbtq.umd.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">university</a> “as a fully equitable community that empowers innovators and agents of social justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people.” Fun!
